Day 1 : Arrival in Marrakech
You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on the arrival time of the flight there will still be time to explore the city.
Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 : Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat 370 km
After breakfast we leave to Casablanca, the economic and financial heart of Morocco.
During a city tour we will see the square of the united nations, Place Mohammed V, a busy shopping street in which the central market with many fruit and vegetable stalls can be found, and the famous Hassan II Mosque, the 1 second largest mosque in the world. This mosque has a minaret of 200 m and 25,000 worshipers in the mosque can go to pray.
After lunch we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
In this city are the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of King Mohamed V and the famous tower of the Mosque of Hassan. At sea, the Kasbah of Oudaya.

Day 3 : Rabat – Meknes – Fes 240 km
After breakfast we depart to Meknes, one of the royal cities located at the foot of the Rif Mountains. This is the city of the famous Sultan Moulay Ismail. In Meknes are the old horse and the granary of the sultan. We will see such monumental Bab El Mansour, one of the most beautiful ports in the 40 km long walls of Meknes.
From Meknes we go to Volubilis, ruins of an ancient Roman City with beautiful mosaics, baths and temple remains.
Then to Moulay Idriss, Morocco’s holiest town with the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the founder of Fes and the grandson of Muhammad.
Finally we go to Fes for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Fes
We stay all day in Fes.
Fes is the oldest imperial city of Morocco and is the spiritual, religious and artistic center of the country.
Fes consists of three parts: the oldest part, Fes el-Bali with a medieval atmosphere, is the most important and is on the UNESCO list of world monuments.
In addition, the slightly younger ward Fes el-Djedid the Mellah and the Jewish quarter.
In the morning we visit the oldest part. We will include the medina and the souks with many craftsmen at work, the famous tanneries, the Neijarine fountain and a Koranic school visits.
In the afternoon we visit Fes el-Djedid (built in the 13th century. Here also the royal palace with beautiful brass doors) and the Mellah (Jewish Quarter)

Day 5 : Fes – Erfoud – Merzouga 490 km
Today we travel through beautiful scenery all the way to Merzouga. After breakfast we head through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards the picturesque village of Midelt. We travel through beautiful landscapes to the foot of Jbel Ayachi. We continue our way towards Errachidia, one of the most beautiful palm oases of Morocco. Then to Erfoud, the largest oasis in the region, surrounded by sand dunes of the Sahara and thousands of palm trees.
Then we go to Rissani. On Thursdays and Sundays there is a donkey market in Rissani, something definitely worth a visit. After we move towards Merzouga.
Merzouga is at the foot of the impressive sand dunes of the Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi). There we will make a camel tour to the camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Time to take a shower and have some rest before dinner. After watching a beautiful sunset in the sand dunes, we will enjoy a campfire while listening to traditional music.
Overnight in a nomad tent in the sand dunes.
Day 6 : Merzouga – Ouarzazate 370 km
After a wonderful sunrise and breakfast we depart through a desert steppe and beautiful oases towards Tinghir. We pass the village of Fezna where we can visit an ancient cataract system (watersupply) and have lung by a traditional nomad family.
In Tinghir we visit the Todra gorges, with an impressive natural gorges up to 250 meters high and at its narrowest point only 10 meters away.
After breakfast we head towards Ouarzazate via the dadelroute (Boumalne du Dades) and the roses valley (the Kelaa M’Gouna). This is the route along the thousand kasbahs. Just for Ouarzazate we can visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. This kasbah is like a beautiful sand castle and was the setting for many films and is on the UNESCO list of world monuments.

Day 7 : Ouarzazate – Marrakech 210 km
After breakfast we depart to Marrakech via the pass Tizin Tichka (the highest peak in Morocco). A beautiful route through the Atlas Mountains with spectacular views.

Day 8 & 9 : Marrakech
All day in Marrakech. Time to explore the city, with its lively souks and the famous Jemaa-el-Fna. Especially at night is the Jemaa-el-Fna square a lively place with acrobats, storytellers, snake charmers, fortune tellers, belly dancers, herbalists, merchants and several eateries.
Visit of the Saadian Tombs dating from the 16th century, the Menara gardens with large water basin and the famous Koutoubia Mosque with its famous minaret of almost 70 meters high (symbol of the city, unfortunately, non-Muslim are not allowed inside).
Evening dinner with music and folklore (Fantasia dinner show).
Overnight in Marrakech.
Airport transfer and departure.
